Hurco CNC Training, Part Offset Buried in the Program
Good news, you don’t have to lose your Part Offset when you forget to save your program.
I have got to say I love Hurco machines, I mean I really fuckin do. Not in that way you say when your are out with your mates, totally shit faced and you keep saying “I love you man”. No no no this is true love.
I do have a tiny moan, well a few tiny moans, but not many.
CNC Training Centre can offer training on Hurco machines so contact us if you need Hurco CNC Training or in fact any CNC Training
One of them is that your work Part offset is on a separate screen and when you change programs if you forgot to save the one you were working all of hells shit will break lose.

That little exclamation mark should be six feet tall in my opinion, ignore it at your peril.
If you don’t know what it means you’ll soon find out. It means “save your program you prick”
What you will soon realise is that this applies to your part setup screen too. (This contains your part offset)
Part setup that is this button

When you press this you get this screen

Now if you change the Part Zero Shift you will need to save your program again. That shitty little exclamation mark the size of an ants cock will again appear.
Does an ant have a penis, now there is a good one for AI.

The Work Around
Yes smart arse David is about to give you a work around.
What you can do is always include this at the beginning of your program. “What David what do i include”
To which I say “fuck off why should I tell you” your just that nasty little shit that pick faults with my YouTube videos.
Only joking, you know I wouldn’t do that I’m far too nice for that.
The real reason it that you will be so impressed with this article that you’ll contact CNC Training Centre for your Hurco CNC Training
If this happens to you.
Go to your program review page
Cursor to the top of your program and then press this button

Now press miscellaneous button

Press
This screen will appear.

You can set you Part Zero here and when you save your program this will be retained in the program.
Please note that when you first insert this in your program it will have the figures you last set.
You can do exactly the same with your machine parameters

This means your setting will be contained in your program

Don’t forget to contact me if you need Hurco CNC Training
